Stretching ourselves is our duty and our joy in equal measure – the Cosmic Magnet offers us the resources to reveal our true inner power.

I’m sure like me, for many of those who attended the Agni Yoga conference last October one of the many highlights was the talk given by Joleen DuBois on the Cosmic Magnet. Being a relative newcomer to the books of Agni Yoga, coming to a deeper sense of the Cosmic Magnet was in itself a joyful revelation.

The impact of the talk (and indeed the conference) has had wide impacts for me, as it provided a level of understanding and awareness that has been followed by a more refined level of attunement to my own ‘central core’ as Joleen described it.

Hearing the ‘whispers’ of my own central organ and trying to hold in my awareness the correspondence with the central core of the Universe has had both energetic and physiological impacts. My physical heart feels like it is recalibrating every few days as it works to respond to and hold the inflowing energies, especially at such a potent time as we move more fully into the Age of Aquarius. My awareness at times feels both vast and focused in the same moment, creating a sense of all-ness and oneness.

On a practical level those whispers are challenging my path, offering nudges and signposts, or ‘friction’, as Joleen described it, to strengthen my resolve and will in my service – in the specifics of where and how I serve as well as the thoughtforms informing my deeper understanding of service.

Joleen invited us to aspire to create a conscious connection with the Cosmic Magnet – it felt like a big stretch to respond to that invitation. And yet by ‘allowing’ the heart to be the powerhouse that it is, we can discover that aspiring to connect at a Cosmic level is so very natural. Opening myself to the vastness of the sky at night and imagining the power of the Cosmic will and Cosmic purpose orchestrating every atom and holding our Universe in place is a step toward that connection.

In direct correspondence I find I’m also having a renewed relationship with the very concept of being magnetic – as a soul, as a group consciousness and as a Humanity. Enormous energy is at our disposal if we can fine tune our instrument to utilise it for the greater good, which again brings us back to the ability hear, listen to and respond to the Cosmic whispers.

Humanity needs as many servers in the vanguard as possible in these times of transition and initiation. Stretching ourselves is our duty and our joy in equal measure – the Cosmic Magnet offers us the resources to reveal our true inner power.
