About to turn the prevailing paradigm on its head, scientific breakthroughs are now revealing a radically new, wide-ranging and evidence-based perception of the more fundamental nature of reality and which is convergent with the universal wisdom teachings and indigenous traditions

Its revelations at every level of existence and vitally that of our everyday lives, are profoundly relevant to each and all of us. In doing so, far more than a scientific revolution, it offers to underpin and serve a (r)evolution in human consciousness.

Its most essential findings are showing that instead of being something we have and experience at different levels of self-awareness; that mind and consciousness are what we and the whole world really are. That, as wisdom teachings have maintained, universal mind literally and meaningfully in-forms the entire appearance of our Universe, as its semblance and not its deeper reality. And that it is its wholeness expressed in nested complexity and diversity, rather than separation or uniformity, that is indeed its authentic unitive nature and that we ourselves are its microcosmic co-creators.

Beginning 13.8 billion years ago not in the implied chaos of a Big Bang but as an incredibly ordered and fine-tuned first moment of an ongoing Big Breath its unitive narrative tells how, as space has since expanded from its miniscule birth and time flowed forward, our whole Universe meaningfully and purposefully exists TO evolve.

Its universal sentience is being discovered to embody a profound evolutionary impulse driven, not by random occurrences and mutations, but through resonant, harmonic and profoundly interdependent relationships that are meaningfully and coherently in-formed and guided.

Our Universe is thus not only innately living, but essentially loving; its inseparable communities of life in service to the emergent good of the whole.

By around five and a half billion years ago, interstellar clouds of molecular hydrogen, stardust and ice, had evolved to provide all the complex combinations of elements and organic building blocks, to birth planetary systems and enable biological life to emerge.

The shock waves from the explosion of a nearby star, then caused such a cloud to gravitationally collapse – not in chaos, but into a proto-planetary disc whose harmonically resonant orbits of its emerging planets, surrounding a central proto-star would further evolve to form our Sun and Solar System.

We have been bequeathed a cosmic heritage. We are more than star dust – we are star seeds.

Vitally, for us, Gaia’s place in our planetary family is perfect: in the habitable zone, not too hot and not too cold but just right. And as a water planet, able to become a home for the emergence and ongoing evolution of biological organisms progressively embodying further individuated sentience.

Expanding our sense of belonging beyond ourselves and our planetary home to embrace the existential meaning and evolutionary purpose embodied in the innate sentience of our Sun, Moon and entire planetary system as a Solar and Soular family – is I suggest a vital next step of our conscious evolution.

The ancient wisdom enshrined in astrology can then be seen in a new light. Appreciating and aligning with the epoch shifting astrological influences of these turbulent times, then offers a positive guide and support to perceive unfolding planetary events, rather than as a meta-crisis as an evolutionary metamorphosis.

As perceived by astrology and other wisdom traditions, the sentience of Sol, our Sun, and its light lives at the heart of every atom of Gaia. Its central role in our Soular family as a portal to universal consciousness, has awaited and is now ready to over-light our collective journey of transformational awareness – and so empowering, guiding and ushering in of its revelation and full flowering as a Solar and Soular Civilisation.
